Hello TNP Community!
We’re so honored to hold space on the new Nora Notes Blog! We deeply respect our friends at The Nora Project and share a common belief – the idea that mindset is at the core of truly inclusive practice. We believe that in order to create embracing communities, we all must practice empathy and flexible thinking in order to create environments where everyone has a sense of belonging.
Founded in 1960, Aspire is non-profit organization dedicated to the successes of individuals with disabilities, their families and the community. We envision communities where people of all abilities live, learn and grow together! I lead Inclusive Solutions, a community-centered inclusion consulting program, which is one of Aspire’s many innovative services. We inspire and empower schools, businesses and other organizations to meaningfully include individuals with disabilities. Through a collaborative process, our experienced team offers practical approaches to strengthen inclusive practices in a variety of settings.
If you’re reading this, we know you’re passionate about inclusion. If you’re a school leader, you may be looking for tips on how to get started, or perhaps you’ve been focused on inclusion for sometime but keep hitting roadblocks. We want you to know that the Aspire Inclusive Solutions team is here for you!
In our work with countless schools over the years, we’ve noticed one specific and very common misstep – doing too much, too fast. Many school leaders move too quickly and don’t spend enough time developing an inclusive climate among their staff. This can be counterproductive, since strengthening inclusive practice requires a unified team from the very beginning. So, we created a specialized online offering to help leaders address this critical piece from the start.
Our course, weINCLUDE: 5 Foundational Steps Toward Building A More Inclusive Program, is designed to help schools and other organizations initiate a pathway to success.
The course equips leaders with the tools they need to engage their staff, begin assessing their programs, and identify next steps. The user-friendly, 100% virtual course features brief videos, interactive worksheets, extra resources and access to on-call support. It’s a productive opportunity for any school leader to think ahead, regardless of where they are on the journey toward inclusion.
In the current situation, we’re all sharing hope for a better future. For us, that future includes communities where people of all abilities are living and learning side by side. We’re thrilled to be able to have this online offering ready and waiting at a time like right now – when we’re presented with a chance to plan for a fresh start.
So much feels challenging right now, but taking these important steps toward inclusion shouldn’t be. That’s why we’re offering a steep discount of 80% OFF and sharing our web course for only $29! You can visit this link to find out more and apply the promo code: BetterFuture to get started. We hope you’ll utilize this exclusive offer and come learn with us!
Right now, we need community action more than ever – and that looks different for all of us. YOU can be an ambassador for inclusion by registering for our course, helping to spread the word, or continuing to support the crucial work being done by organizations like Aspire and The Nora Project. What action will you take today?
We’d like to send a special thank you to The Nora Project for inviting us to the Nora Notes Blog to share this resource with you! We sincerely appreciate TNP Team’s commitment to inclusion and collaborative spirit! It’s their type of enduring dedication to partnership that reinforces what we at Aspire believe so deeply – Together, We’re Better!
Stay safe and stay kind,
