Summer Reading Lists 2022

It’s officially August! With the change of the calendar comes the inevitable return to school. Help the children in your life prepare for the transition by exploring the books in our Summer Reading List! Not only will they help motivate children to continue reading, but it will also give them an opportunity to reflect on concepts key to The Nora Project curriculums.

Team TNP  has created two lists of topics to read about for readers at any level. The first is our Picture Book Summer Reading List and the second is the Novel Summer Reading List, which is a shorter list due to the longer lengths of each book. Both lists feature a variety of categories and themes including disability, community, empathy, and inclusion. We encourage readers to finish at least one book from each section. Not sure what books to read for each topic? No problem! We included the titles of some of our favorite books to help you get started. Once a reader has completed a section, they get to color in the rectangle. When completed, they will have their own colorful library to hang up!
