Pride Amplified Fundraiser
The pandemic has certainly imposed new limits on how we connect. But it’s also called on our creativity and empowered us to reach out and find one another in the virtual space. And thanks to that shift, The Nora Project is thrilled to be able to gather a community of philanthropists, program supporters, educators, families, activists, and fans from all around the world together for 90 minutes of celebrating disability pride and the power of educators to usher the next generation into a more empathetic, more inclusive world.
On October 11th, The Nora Project will broadcast a virtual showcase on YouTube live. Through the event, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the work you make possible, and to see an all-star lineup of disability artist/activists, including NPR Tiny Desk Contest Winner, violinist and singer/songwriter Gaelynn Lea, renowned comedian and Ted Talker Maysoon Zayid, and the incredibly talented and dynamic singer Lachi. You'll also hear firsthand from The Nora Project teachers, students, leadership, event honorees, and even some surprise guests. It's going to be wonderful!
We hope you'll take this opportunity to share The Nora Project with your family and friends, while joining from the comfort of your own home. This event has no capacity, will have live closed captioning, and is truly open to all. It will be an unforgettable virtual experience to advance inclusion and disability justice education for all students.
