Celebrate Friendship February with TNP
This February, The Nora Project will kick off its fourth annual Friendship February initiative, encouraging students and their communities to show kindness, empathy and inclusion through daily friendship challenges.
Originally introduced in 2018, Friendship February started as a social challenge designed to give back to the community and advance The Nora Project’s mission of teaching empathy and sparking friendships. Friendship February participants strengthen their empathy muscles by thinking about those in their communities and supporting them with acts of kindness throughout the month. New this year, participants can secure pledges from donors to make their acts of kindness go even further!
Participants are encouraged to complete 5, 10, 15 or 28 acts of kindness from The Nora Project’s challenge list in the month of February. Donors may choose to pledge a dollar amount for each act of kindness or a flat amount to support participants in their efforts.
Anyone can participate: students, families, corporate groups. And participating in Friendship February is as easy as 1-2-3:
