Meet the 2021 FF Student Committee

FF Committee v3.png

This month, The Nora Project is celebrating Friendship February -- a month-long celebration of friendship, kindness and inclusion. Want to know what team TNP’s favorite part about Friendship February is? That it’s student-led!

We have an incredible group of students who have spent months meeting, brainstorming, planning and celebrating all things Friendship February. From writing the list of 28 Kindness Challenges for the month to recording encouraging videos and creating artwork for Valentine’s cards -- they’ve done it all.

We asked each of the committee members a few questions about what Friendship February and The Nora Project means to them. Here’s what they had to say:

Morgan Committee Chair
6th grade, Westchester Intermediate School

How will you encourage others to join you in celebrating Friendship February? I will talk about The Nora Project and how the money we raise can help kids around the world to understand that what makes us different makes us cool.

What do you want other people to know about The Nora Project and Friendship February? I want other people to know that we are all different in one way or another and that's ok. We should celebrate each other's differences rather than discourage them and doing acts of kindness during Friendship February is one way we can start!
