Welcoming Addie Cirulis to TNP

ID: A young white woman with long blonde hair and braces is smiling. She is wearing a light purple shirt and is standing next to a wooden structure surrounded by trees.

Recently, The Nora Project welcomed Addie Cirulis to the team as our Communications Intern! In this role, Addie will assist with website updating efforts and social media content creation, as well as strategize new ways to spread the word about The Nora Project and help with marketing endeavors. She is very interested in learning about accessibility online and excited to contribute to the organization by the way of trend-based marketing on social media.

Addie is a 10th grade student at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT, but grew up in Winnetka, IL, where the rest of her family lives. At school, she is involved in musical theater, and enjoys playing tennis in her free time. Addie was introduced to The Nora Project through her father, Steve Cirulis, who was a founding member of the Board of Directors and served two terms as the organization’s Treasurer. He has inspired an interest in Addie to help school aged children develop empathy for others, and she is excited to finally be a part of the action within The Nora Project team.

She shared, “Today more than ever the world is in desperate need of some kindness, and I believe that starts with inclusivity. We have so much to learn from those who see the world differently and I’m thrilled to be part of something that really propels this idea and puts it into action.”
