PRIMER PACK PROGRAM

The Primer Pack program is designed to provide a solid foundation for students in emotional literacy and regulation, friendship skills and empathy skills, while also introducing them to disability as a part of human diversity and the Ability Inclusive Mindset.

Ages:

  • Primer Pack curriculum is available in 3 levels: Ages 3-4, Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3.

As part of the Primer Pack Program students will:

  • Learn and practice skills that help them build understanding, empathic relationships with their peers.

  • Learn how to support and care for one another.

  • Develop their identity as an includer and learn the behaviors and skills associated with an Ability Inclusive Mindset.

  • Engage in read alouds, games, activities, and for older students, regular reflection.

Teachers receive 38 complete lesson plans, materials, and resources designed for an ability inclusive setting.
