PRIMER PACK PROGRAM
The Primer Pack program is designed to provide a solid foundation for students in emotional literacy and regulation, friendship skills and empathy skills, while also introducing them to disability as a part of human diversity and the Ability Inclusive Mindset.
Ages:
Primer Pack curriculum is available in 3 levels: Ages 3-4, Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3.
As part of the Primer Pack Program students will:
Learn and practice skills that help them build understanding, empathic relationships with their peers.
Learn how to support and care for one another.
Develop their identity as an includer and learn the behaviors and skills associated with an Ability Inclusive Mindset.
Engage in read alouds, games, activities, and for older students, regular reflection.
Teachers receive 38 complete lesson plans, materials, and resources designed for an ability inclusive setting.
